3rd Generation High-Purity Diaphragm Valve Description
3rd Generation High-Purity Diaphragm Valve is designed to fully comply with the latest GMP, ASME BPE, EHEDG, and 3A high-purity requirements. Its optimized geometry ensures dead-leg control within ≤1D to ≤3D, meeting the stringent standards for hygienic and aseptic processes.
The valve can be operated manually or pneumatically and is specifically engineered for sanitary and sterile applications in the pharmaceutical industry. It is ideally suited for both flow control and shut-off duties. The diaphragm provides both the body and seat seal, ensuring no pathway between the process medium and the external environment, making it highly reliable for aseptic operations.
When the valve closes, the pressure pad supporting the diaphragm moves towards the sealing surface of the valve body. As the pressure plate advances, the diaphragm flexes and is pressed against the seat area in the center of the valve body, thereby shutting off the fluid path. The precise alignment between the valve body and the pressure plate prevents diaphragm over-compression, extending diaphragm service life.
The valve can be operated manually, pneumatically, or integrated with a controller and solenoid valve for automated process control.
